Being back in Helsinki is great, not only because of all my friends here and I love the town, but also because there's always something going on here. And you will always meet friends or somebody you know there, so you're never alone. Another great thing about Helsinki is: there's so much going on you can decide where to go.
This night I decided to go there: Sleazy Dream and Stereo Junks were playing at Semifinal.
Both bands are local bands, so from Helsinki, Finland. And both are great bands and it's always nice seeing them.
Semifinal is a little club, about 150 people fit in there but then it would be really crowded, and actually it never really gets all crowded. So it was nice to see that it was filling up quickly.
Sleazy Dream is a sleaze rock band, like the name already says. The singer has a great voice, really soft and touchy, yet powerful and strong. Somehow they always have great light so it's a lot of fun taking pictures during their gigs. Their show was great but quite slow and pretty compared to what would come next, but still great and not boring at all. The singer was talking to the audience in Finish and they replied. The audience was quite active for a Thursday night.
Up next were
Stereo Junks!. Anzi Destruction (the singer) really deserves his name. He is always quite destructive on stage, I wonder how much longer the Semifinal stage is gonna take that. It was already bending quite a lot... Their drummer is known from a band called Bloodpit, which is not anymore a band, and the bass player was the one from Private Line.
Anzi was falling all over the stage and was throwing around the microphone stand. The drunk audience enjoyed it and was singing along. Everybody was going crazy, not only the folks onstage, but everybody in the audience as well. You really had to watch out that you don't get hit by either of them. Seeing Stereo Junks! is always an adventure.

Wieder in Helsinki zu sein ist super, nicht nur weil hier einige gute Freunde von mir leben und ich diese Stadt einfach liebe, sondern auch weil hier so ziemlich immer etwas los ist. Man trifft überall Bekannte oder Freunde, so ist man nie allein. Eine andere tolle Sache an Helsinki ist, das oft an mehreren Orten etwas Interessantes los ist, dass man sich aussuchen kann, wohin man gehen möchte.
Ich entschied mich fürs Semifinal, wo Sleazy Dream und Stereo Junks spielen würden.
Beide Bands sind aus Helsinki, Finnland. Und Beide sind großartig, es ist jedesmal toll sie zu sehen.
Semifinal ist ein kleiner Club, in den etwa 150 Leute reinpassen, aber dann wäre er wirklich voll, was allerdings eher selten vorkommt.
Sleazy Dream ist eine Sleazerock band, wie der Name schon sagt. Der Sänger hat eine tolle Stimme, wirklich weich und sanft, zugleich ausdrucksvoll und stark. Irgendwie haben sie immer eine gute Beleuchtung, so macht es Spaß Fotos zu schiessen während deren Konzert. Ihre Show war großartig, aber verglichen mit dem Kommenden relativ langsam und ruhig, aber immer noch sehr genial und abwechslungsreich. Die Band unterhielt sich zwischen den Songs mit dem Publikum. Für einen Donnerstag Abend war das Publikum recht aktiv.
Als nächstes kamen
Stereo Junks! auf die Bühne. Anzi Destruction (der Sänger) macht seinem Namen immer alle Ehre. Soviel wie Anzi auf der Bühne rumspringt, rumpurzelt und sich auslebt, frage ich mich, wie lange die im Semifinal es noch durchhalten wird. Immerhin hat sie sich schon ziemlich unter ihm gebogen...
Als Stereo Junks! Drummer wurde diesmal der von Bloodpit "geborgt", und als Bassist kam Spit von Privat Line.
Anzi sprang und rockte über die Bühne, wobei er den Microphonständer immer herumwirbelte und herumschmiss. Das teilweise sehr betrunkene Publikum hatte seinen Spaß dabei und sang fleissig mit. Jeder hatte seinen Spaß: nicht nur die Jungs auf der Bühne, sondern auch jeder im Publikum.
