Mind of Doll & Naked

Nosturi is a quite big venue, and really nice. There are two bars: one on the upper floors for everybody k18 and in the back of the lower where's also a small k18 area. On the ceiling you can find a heartagram hanging around. I always like being at Nosturi, especially on the upper floor. But tonight the upper one was closed, not too many people were expected so they decided not to open it. That meant that most of the visitors who were older than 18 were crowded at the back of Nosturi at the bar section and all the kiddies up front where the stage was at. That meant a big gap in the middle of the venue. It would probably be a funny view from up above. But all that made it seem quite empty.

The event tonight was called Monsters of Puck, the performing bands that night were Mind of Doll and Naked. I have never heard of Mind of Doll before, nor have I ever seen them live. But as I saw them I found it weird that they were playing first. Not that Naked was worse or anything, no. Simply the fact that Mind of Doll is a little more serious and their audience and their fans were a bit older than the Naked fans. And several of the "older audience" left after seeing Mind of Doll. Mind of Doll rocked Nosturi, and many people could sing along. I really enjoyed their show, nice rock, quite serious and yet did they enjoy what they were doing. Great band and I hope I can see them live again some day. They even played an encore.



Up next were Naked. As I said before: Some people left, but some also came. So there was about the same amount of people to see Naked but it was much louder because many of their fans were screaming their lungs out for the boys. This band is just funny. The guys are always making fun, always smiling and just enjoying being on stage. Really great to watch them perform, they are such entertainers. Especially The Muff! I am always totally irritated and fascinated by his hair: Huge and not moving a bit! And he is always jumping around. The band had a great interaction going on with their fans, they were talking with each other during the gig and the band played with some of the girls in the front row. One girl even brought hairspray for Muff's hair. We were in the photo pit the whole entire time, so it happened that the bass player asked me if I have ever been to jail. Yes, my dear, I have, but only because I studied business law. After that question and my answer they continued with the song "Break Free". Later during their show I was just sitting there, enjoying the show and trying to take pictures of the guitar player and drummer as all the sudden Muff was standing right beside me in the pit. Later on I got told he must have fallen off stage but made it look quite professional. Anyways, I was shocked because I didn't expect him to be there when turning around. They rocked Nosturi, their fans sang along, screamed and adored their idols. The band had lots of fun and so did we. For the last song they had a confetti canon blowing out tons of white paper, so the stage and the front rows were totally covered in that. And that was it. But the audience wanted more. So they came back for encore and played two more song. What a great show. And always fun and chaos.
